GVHD can be chronic or acute. Chronic GVHD (cGVHD) usually starts more than three months after a transplant and can last a lifetime. Acute GVHD (aGVHD) can occur soon after a transplant.

Tightness in joints

Vaginal dryness

Weight loss

Abdominal swelling

Difficulty swallowing

Skin rash & thickening

Raised or discolored areas
